Dr. Nishant finished his MD in Psychiatry in Psychiatry in 2017 and since then has worked in Medical college and Civil hospital on various posts involving OPD consultation, undergraduates and research. His research work include the themes of Gender and Sexuality in Adolescent, Body Image and Self-esteem and Burnout in First Responders and ICU Staff. He has presented papers and case studies in various national and international conferences (conducted by the World Psychiatry Society and European Psychiatry Society). His special areas of interest are child and adolescent cognitive development, learning and epistemology.
He believes that flexibility of thought and coping mechanisms, if included in children through experimental and collaborative learning models can lead to life long resilience against mental disorder and personality issues.
He is currently associated with Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Govt. Hospital on a contractual basis for Psychiatric consultation and is also persuing his private practice in New life Hospital, Varanasi.
